Welcome to Farmetric ("the Platform", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our diesel and fleet management application. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Farmetric provides a digital platform for:

  • Tracking diesel usage and fuel logs
  • Managing vehicles, equipment, and tanks
  • Monitoring efficiency (km/l or hours/l)
  • Recording operational data and reports

We reserve the right to modify or improve features at any time.

2. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription & Payments

  • Access to the Platform is subscription-based
  • Pricing plans are clearly displayed during sign-up
  • Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., PayFast / Paystack)

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • Failure to pay may result in restricted or suspended access

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time via the admin settings
  • Access will continue until the end of the billing cycle

Refunds

  • Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable

4. Use of the Platform

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform

5. Data Accuracy

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered (e.g., fuel logs, odometer readings)
  • We are not liable for incorrect calculations resulting from incorrect user input

6. System Availability

  • We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
  • We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Use of the Platform is at your own risk

8. Data & Ownership

  • You retain ownership of your data
  • We may store and process your data to provide the service

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • Payment obligations are not met

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
